All About Me

I have been practicing as a behavior analyst for 4 years, and I have been in the field of behavior for 7 years. Prior to obtaining my license as a Behavior Analyst, I was a preschool education teacher for 11 years and a Registered Behavior Technician for 3 years. In 2021,  I obtained a Master’s degree in Psychology, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis and Child and Adolescent from Capella University, and shortly thereafter, I obtained my license to practice as a BCBA. My primary experience and expertise is delivering early intensive behavior intervention (EIBI)  to 2-6 year old children and 9-19 year olds with autism and related pervasive developmental disorders. I have extensive experience working in classrooms with teachers and staff, writing functional behavior assessments,  and creating creative solutions to facilitate learning. I have worked under several amazing well known Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and I have adapted concepts relating to Greg Hanley's Practical Skills  and ACT methods. In addition, I have extensive experience supervising and grooming BCBA candidates. I am a licensed Behavior Analyst with seven years of direct experience, including four years as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). My professional background also encompasses eleven years as a preschool educator, which provided a strong foundation in child development, followed by three years as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). I completed my Master of Arts in Psychology in 2021 from Capella University, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis and Child/Adolescent Development.

All About Me

My expertise is centered on delivering high-quality, early intensive behavior intervention (EIBI) for children aged 2-6, and providing specialized support to adolescents (9-19) with autism spectrum disorder and associated developmental challenges. I utilize evidence-based methodologies to address challenging behaviors and foster the development of communication, social, and daily living skills. Furthermore, I possess extensive experience collaborating with educators in various school settings to implement effective behavior management systems. A key component of my practice involves conducting comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to develop individualized, data-driven intervention plans.

I am committed to upholding the highest standards of clinical practice, which is demonstrated by my integration of contemporary, research-supported strategies such as Dr. Greg Hanley’s Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment (PFA/SBT) and the core principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also possess significant experience in mentorship, specifically guiding and preparing BCBA candidates for competent clinical practice.
